It’s gonna be a memorable evening of solo acoustic sets featuring Sarah Parson of Rum River Cult and Gregory James McKillop. So come get cozy on our couch, or a little rowdy cuttin’ a rug, for these folk-punk luminaries!

What would we love more?! We are so glad that they will be offering some of their free community events right here at Rumble! Next Thursday, Oct 30th., they will be hosting “Foraging Teatime and Game Night” from 6-9pm right here at 1516 SE 43rd Ave. PDX 97215

It’s gonna be a cozy evening to learn about foraged teas, their medicinal benefits, and how to prepare them.

They will provide teas to brew and enjoy together and will play plant and mushroom themed games.

Charlie outdid themselves and made an elaborate array of Spooky Snacks and even personal ghost pizzas to order! There were pumpkin guts flying, kids crafts abound, and even spaghetti brains!

This is a space to unify; to find our collective voice; to stand up with song; to vocalize our echoed resilience! Also may be a good time to form a little group for music in the streets?!?

Housemate Charlie has a bookkeeping business and is leading a monthly Small Business “Books” club: a coworking group (virtual & in person) to help small business owners stay top of tedious monthly bookkeeping tasks with guidance and support. Drop in 1-3pm every 2nd Sunday. Whether you come in person or online, Charlie asks new participants to fill out an rsvp form ahead so they can get an idea of what folks are working on. The types of tools we use might include spreadsheets (Excel), automation tools (Zapier), note-taking apps (Notion), scheduling platforms, survey tools, code (R/Python), databases, etc. All ages and tech-abilities welcome & snacks will be provided!

This is for anyone who needs help with a project that involves technology but isn’t sure where to start, is halfway there but stuck and losing steam, or just wants some focused company & snacks to power their passion project! This isn’t for code-based web dev projects, or people with physical computer problems - Eli can’t fix your computer 😕

Do you have a bigger tech project in mind that needs more 1-1 support, tutorials, or help bringing it to life? Reach out to talk about sliding-scale projects that help actualize your dreams while funding Rumble Collective and our parent nonprofit!

This will focus on relationship practices and principles that center mutual nourishment and attunement, supporting participants in developing tools and wisdom for long term cultivation of chosen family, village, and community connections. Applied skills and principles will draw from meditation, authentic relating, and social design, and participants can expect to engage their emotional intelligence and nervous system awareness to cultivate emergent language that nurtures interpersonal well-being.

Next month we are gonna be coming back with a filled out calendar for September! Keep an eye out and come usher in the Fall with some cozy hangs at Rumble. Let’s make some pretty messes together!

We encourage open dialogue, and the exploration of feelings, fears, and curiosities about mortality in a supportive community. As always we will have coffee, tea, and a selection of pastries as we share our thoughts and experiences. Any and all welcome, and always no cost/free.

- Go home w/ tried and true base recipes, add-ins, and insights for developing your own flavors!

- Learn about various Base types; Philidelphia, Custard, Sorbets, Dairy Alternatives
- Go home with a Pint of top shelf cream and a grab bag including recipes and plant-based stabilizer to use in your own creations!
- As a group we will be making our own base, going over candying and caramel making, as well as churning up our own creations.
- All participants will be able to take home a pint of previously churned Ice Cream, choosing from a variety of flavors.

New to bikepacking? Seasoned bikepacking enthusiast? All are welcome for this event!

We’ll start by going over the basics of Bikepacking 101—route planning, safety, gear setups, food and water strategies—and share resources for continued learning. Then we’ll move into free-form adventure planning time. Bring your device, journal, or maps to start scheming in the company of friends who can help brainstorm and answer questions.

They were created in response to the recognition for the lack of spaces available to process around these topics.
